Yahoo has brought out the new messenger Yahoo Messenger 9.0 BETA. Thats cool and everything, personally I don’t like the new look, but I’ll go with the flow. The problem is something else.
Did you ever check that you got the newest version of the messenger?
Here is the time go to Yahoo messenger –> Help –> Check for updates
Guess what, you got the latest version. But are you sure Yahoo checked it?
You’ll probably have a link like this http://messenger.yahoo.com/updates?intl=us&os=win&ver=9.0.0.1389
Change it to http://messenger.yahoo.com/updates?intl=us&os=win&ver=1035453.453.453 or what ever you want it will say that you have the latest version, no mater what you write after the ‘ver=’. This goes if you set a number higher than 8.
Shame on Yahoo. Eastereggs are all over the place :-).
